Events

Throughout the entire year there are a large variety of events in Vlissingen that are published on this site in the Even Calendar (dutch language only).

A number of major events are held annually and can be announced now for the coming years:

• Sixth of April celebration (the Saturday closest to 6 April)
• De Ruyter Yearly Market with stallholders competition (Friday after Ascension Day)
• Queen’s Official Birthday (30 April)
• Liberation Festival (5 May)
• Street festival with street theatre day (first week of July)
• Fun fair (third week of July)
• Midsummer night market on the esplanade (first Friday of August)
• Hotel/restaurant/café festival/Mussel feast (beginning of August)
• Maritime Small Sail Festival (second half of August)
• Festival Film by the Sea (first half of September)
• Beach motocross (end September/beginning of October, depending on tide levels)
